Jasmyni & Amy – Backyard Wedding

Jasmyni & Amy had one of the most relaxed and romantic backyard wedding of all time!

They live in Portland and we bonded immediately on the phone as we chatted about their plans for an intimate backyard wedding. Their vision seriously came together!

They got ready together with their moms which was super sweet and made the day start off with lots of snuggles! They wore Toms and Amy had a custom lace top made to create her GORGEOUS pant suit (I’m only slightly obsessed).

The ceremony had welcome drinks and was held underneath a canopy of trees and officiated by their close friend. As they walked out with their parents everyone started to feel emotional. They had wonderful vows that got everyone laughing and tearing up. We followed it by portraits around their yard and neighborhood. There was no bridal party because everyone there was special enough to be VIP so we got to spend time with just the two of them and get them plenty of time to enjoy cocktail hour. Best part about cocktail hour? The raw bar!!!!!! Plus there was a polaroid for the guest book, a two piece band and some delicious Brazilian wedding cookies!

Once the sun had set dinner was held under a layer of string lights on the lawn. Long banquet tables were adorned with lines of greenery and candlelight. A plated dinner was served while toasts took place and the pool deck became the perfect dance floor. I’m still waiting for a wedding where people jump in the pool by the way.

They have such an intense connection, it was amazing to witness and photograph.
And they were also filled with pure unfiltered goof ass fun! 
A raw bar!!! Sweet dreams are made of this!!!!!  Desserts for days!!!!

The way they set up the backyard was INCREDIBLE!
