Amy & Matt – Savannah Engagement Session
Romance Novel Themed Engagement Session in Savannah
Sometimes I can’t believe my luck with how INCREDIBLE the couples are that come to us. Matt is the brother in law of the owner, Aimee, at Prisma Events. If you need a planner in Colorado (or beyond) who is kind, fun, no bullshit and super LGBTQ friendly check them out.
Anyway, Matt and Amy reached out wanting to do something different for their save the dates and after chatting for awhile they mentioned plans for a trip coming up. Suddenly we were meeting for the first time in another state and wandering the street of Savannah together for their engagement session.
Me and Nicole packed our bags and road tripped over. If you couldn’t tell already we LOVE jumping in the car and trekking together for shoots and weddings. Even though we often meet a client in a new place it is still super nerve wracking every single time. Thankfully, I think it took 0.4 seconds after meeting them to get comfortable and start laughing and having fun!
Their wedding has a romance novel theme so we incorporated that for their save the dates and I can’t help but love it! Plus the Princess Bride is my favorite film so getting to check out their beautiful copy was extra fantastic!
We did this image for fun to play with the book theme. I don’t even know how many times Nicole had to throw books in the air to make it work, hello bicep workout LOL.
Super obsessed with her green jumper! This color just POPS!
Obviously loved all the adorned porches in that city, so beautiful.
One of our last stops was Wormsloe Historic Site, we were trying to go at sunset for that perfect light but didn’t realize it closed like an hour before that. We got about 10 magical minutes in before getting run off property by golf cart ladies.
